MummyOverload’s Review On Acrylic Paint Pens…

Got sent these yesterday from a company called iLOVETANTUNG. You get 12 premium acrylic paint makers in the box, very vibrant colours. These are multi-surface, water based, permanent, non-toxic & reversible tips.

I didn’t know what to expect when I got them, didn’t open them till this morning but I must say they are pretty good. They are not use able straight away, there’s a few steps that you need to take before you can use them. I struggled more with them more then my 4 & 7-year-old πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ.

You need to shake them, put the tip down to let the air out, push the pen onto paper then you can use them. I tried all this and it wasn’t working for me, started to get annoyed as you do till Olly was like I can do it mummy, yeah whatever kid I thought πŸ™„.

but I was wrong they managed to get them working before me 🀣. I don’t paint much with the kids as they are really messy and it goes everywhere, all over them, the floor, the table, their hair and once on my walls. Olly used to like to colour and paint his sister when he was small πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ I have to keep a close eye on them as they would happily do it now.

You get tweezers with them too, as you can change the tips on them (as seen in picture) which is great but I shouldn’t leave the room once I have explained what you use the tweezers for, Matilda tried to change one on her own which she nearly managed but apparently she had an itch on her face but managed to itch her face with the tweezers and tip in her hand πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ yes you guessed it was all over her face but thankfully these wash off pretty easy with a wet wipe.

They are not messy unless you are Matilda I don’t know how she manages it but she does then blames it on her hand and says well I can’t help being left-handed… that has nothing to do with it tilda πŸ˜†, but if you or your child do manage to get messy like I said it does comes off pretty easy not sure about clothes yet as they didn’t get any on them.

It was the quietest half hour of the day even with the roofer banging round outside it was still quite nice and they only argued once πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œawesome!!!!

The Paint Pens are non-toxic and look great on rocks, canvas, ceramics, stone, glass, metal, pottery, wood, terracotta, polymer clay, and more! We tired them out on paper we will go rock hunting sometime this week and see what they are like on rocks πŸ™‚ Also sun proof and water proof so if you’re a teacher or a nursery nurse you can use them on play equipment outside and they shouldn’t fade. When used on paper they don’t go through like normal paint do and they dry so quickly and pictures look great πŸ™‚

My lovely picture I did which the kids laughed at and said its cute mum but not very good. Thanks!! Matilda’s pictures I couldn’t find Olly’s πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. They just look like a normal pen’s had been used they dried that quick.

If you’re looking for non messy pens or paint I recommend these 100% the retail on amazon at Β£13.99 but worth every penny πŸ™‚

Much Love Lizxx
